Hey John! If I like stouts, but I’m not a big hop fan, would you still recommend this beer? I’m am iron stout, oatmeal stout, milk stout, and chocolate stout fan. Is this too hoppy?
Comment by Angel 08/08/2008 @ 7:23 PMHey Angel! Being a hop head, I’d say that this was wholly satisfying, but it was also very well balanced, very chocolate, malty, and delicious. I’d say that you might not like its hoppiness, but that the chance that you would like this is well worth the price of finding out. It was absolutely fantastic, in my opinion. B might like it too!
Comment by lemasney 08/09/2008 @ 3:21 AMHad this again tonight — what an amazing brew — bitter, deeply hoppy and cocoalicious. So dark and opaque, but very nuanced in its flavor profile. Would go amazingly with cheese.
