ABV: 8.1 %
RateBeer rating: 82
Calories: estimated at 400 C
Volume: 22 fl oz.
Glass: Weizen, English Pint
Purchased at: Joe Canal’s Lawrenceville, NJ
Price: $5.99
Consumed at: home

First Impression: Aroma is nice, malty, syrupy, and dark. Visuals are absolutely black opaque body under a tan head that thins quickly. Taste is chocolate, coffee, malt, and roasty goodness. Delicious. Palate is thin, wet, and sweet. Finish is short lived and simply bitter. Second Impression – not a great beer, not overwhelming, but not bad. There are better beers for less per ounce than this one, but it was a fairly enjoyable experience.

Aroma: 7 out of 10

Visuals: 5 out of 5

Taste: 8 out of 10

Palate: 4 out of 5

Overall: 17 out of 20
