First Impression: Aroma is nice, malty, syrupy, and dark. Visuals are absolutely black opaque body under a tan head that thins quickly. Taste is chocolate, coffee, malt, and roasty goodness. Delicious. Palate is thin, wet, and sweet. Finish is short lived and simply bitter. Second Impression – not a great beer, not overwhelming, but not bad. There are better beers for less per ounce than this one, but it was a fairly enjoyable experience.
