first impression: Beautiful. enticing smell and allure. Rich amber tones. Frothy, solid head. bubbly. Quite malty and flavorful. Smooth and without edges, but full flavor and enjoyable light bite.
Color, depth: medium dark. color intensifies at concave point, and pales at edges. Remarkable color.
Belgian lace, legs: lace is light, but head is good.
Aroma: mellow, delicious aroma. flowery.
Hoppiness, bite: Only a light bite but very nice.
Maltiness, flavor: malty, hoppy, and delicious, without being overbearing on any front.
Weight: A hefty, full, weighty feel in the hand.
Mouthfeel: dry and only slightly cloying. Memorable.
second impression: This is a delicious and enjoyable brew, but does not know you over the head with bite or flavorings. It is a mellower IPA with lesser bitterness, but would do better paired with lighter fare. A great example of a well balanced brew.
