A beautiful deep amber body under an off white head. Full of sweetness and bitterness so very nicely balanced. Pine, citrus and rind all meet in a deep and delicious beer.

Comment by lemasney 09/02/2010 @ 8:41 AMNugget Nectar IPA? come on man. Imperial Amber Ale.
Comment by tq 01/31/2011 @ 9:46 PMIn my defense, I always used RateBeer to help me to define the style. I stand by their definition. It tasted like no amber ale I ever had. http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/tr%F6egs-nugget-nectar-ale/30812/
Comment by lemasney 01/31/2011 @ 10:09 PMJohn, I agree with your IPA assessment. This is the first try of this beer and I was taken aback when I poured it and even more suprised when I tasted it. My very first thought as I was sipping was “IPA”. I thought it was good, but I was originally attracted because of the “Amber” on the label. Great blog, great observations!
