Aroma: overpowering, overwhelming, room altering, caramel scent. 9 out of 10.

Visuals: opaque, dark, black, thick, tan, persistent head, thin lace. 4 out of 5.

Taste: caramel, crystal malt, few hops, alcohol, overpowering, like dessert. 8 out of 10.

Palate: oily, long cloying finish. 3 out of 5.

Overall: It was almost entirely the essence of caramel. Interesting but not one of my favorites. I’d have it again, but It’s not something I’ll go out of my way for. It was well crafted, but not one of my favorites. 16 out of 20.
